About The Rivalry Cup

Who Doesn’t Love a Good Rivalry?

In the spirit of fierce competition, the Rivalry Cup was born. The Rivalry Cup is an annual golf tournament that fuels healthy competition while supporting the booster programs of FSU and UF. Held during Rivalry Week before the UF vs. FSU football game, this thrilling event sees 66% of the proceeds go to the Seminole and Gator booster programs, divided equally. The rest of the spoils go to the victorious team.

This year's event will be held at the stunning Old Memorial Golf Club in Tampa and promises to be more exciting than ever. The players of the FSU Seminole Masters, led by Captain Lance Barton, are expected to show up and dominate, as they have in past years. It's time for the Gators to rise to the challenge and claim victory! To kick off the event in style last year, Cervie ran out with the flaming spear and stuck it into the ground like the savage he is, igniting the competitive spirit for the night and the tournament round. And let's not forget last year's surprise guest, Billy Horschel, who had a blast talking trash to the FSU guys. This year promises even more excitement and banter.

About Old Memorial

"Old Memorial Golf Club is a pure, undisturbed sanctuary of golf, where members and guests can get away from the hectic pace of life to enjoy friendly competition, the camaraderie of golfers from diverse backgrounds, and the free exchange of ideas."
Along with a mixture of subtle and bold contours, Old Memorial's primary design feature is its bunkering. Large and beautifully sculpted, the bunkers have sand faces with long grass fingers that give them the appearance of a series of smaller bunkers.
